Our Story

Welcome to the Hujra a place where every guest is family

In Pashtun tradition, the hujra is the guest house of the village: the room where travellers are welcomed, green tea is poured and food is shared without hesitation.

K.P HUJRA brings that spirit to Great Moor Street, Bolton. Our kitchen cooks the dishes of Kabul and Peshawar the way they are made at home: Kabuli pulao with lamb shank, chapli kebab from the street grills of Peshawar, charsi karahi brought sizzling to the table, and kebabs straight off the grill.

Rosh (also called namkeen) is the pride of the Pashtun table: lamb cooked slowly and simply until it falls from the bone. Ours is served with one large Peshawari naan.
